Well maintained edges give your ski and snowboard the necessary grip and increase the fun of skiing. However, the widely used artificial snow and icy slopes cause your edges to wear out more quickly. If you ride frequently, it pays off to sharpen the edges on a regular basis. A nice side effect: durability – you will enjoy your equipment for many years.

Ski waxing is part of the standard programme of winter preparations. Especially in cross-country skiing, a regular care routine and a good wax are crucial for speed and performance. But also on the piste and in powder snow, especially when the snow conditions are not quite optimal, the advantages of a well maintained ski become apparent. You ski with less effort and the ski becomes more agile.

The binding fulfills two tasks. It connects the boot and the rider safely and firmly to the ski. In the event of a fall it loosens and separates the connection, thus protects against injury. In order for this mechanism to function properly, each binding must be adjusted individually and correctly for each rider. Because individual parameters such as weight, size and skiing ability can change, it is important to check regularly whether the binding is still correctly adjusted.
