Take a break on a pair of skis.
When choosing the right cross-country ski, your ability and the chosen discipline are the most important factors. Classic skis are longer and their base is divided into glide and climb zones. The boots are lower and allow more mobility. Skating skis for the open track are shorter, their glide zone covers the entire ski and the boots provide more support.

Classic cross-country skiing
Classic cross-country skiing is ideal for beginners and helps to build up a basic condition. The well prepared tracks of the cross-country ski run guide you and lead you through the winter landscape in a relaxed manner. In Bad Mitterndorf, with its many kilometres of trails, we are in a paradise for cross-country skiers and skating fans.
The skating ski
Skating is the more active version of cross-country skiing where you can push your limits and challenge your physical condition. Here, the technique is particularly important, since gliding needs to be practised.
